Longtime poker player Mike Dentale has been crushing on the live tournament scene. Final day of the 2015 Unibet Poker Open. New Full Tilt Poker avatar announced. And more.
Mike’s unbelievable run
I don’t always root for poker players… but when I do, I root for Mike Dentale. Luckily for me, Mike Dentale has given me a lot to root for over the past week or so.
After bubbling the WPT Montreal Main Event final table, but picking up a solid $43,000 payday in the process, Dentale headed off to the Borgata to play in the Fall Poker Open. Less than two weeks after his WPT Montreal bubble, Dentale found himself at the final table of the Borgata FPO Main Event, and ended up taking down the tournament for a $336k score.
If you’re curious why I root for Mike, it’s because I got to know him when I appeared on Poker Night in America. He’s loud, funny to some, and I suppose obnoxious to others, at the table, but he’s also a good guy away from the table. He also makes a great Twitter follow: @MikeUnbelievable on Twitter.
