Full Tilt Poker has a new promotion starting on Monday, January 25th, when prize money for many of its daily and weekly guaranteed tournaments will be doubled.
The promotion means the site will be guaranteeing more than $25 million for the week, ending on January 31st, culminating with a Sunday tournament slate that includes $2.5 million in guarantees in just three tournaments:
The Sunday Brawl at 2 p.m. — $800,000 guaranteed
The $750,000 Guarantee at 6 p.m. — $1.5 million guaranteed
The Sunday Mulligan at 7:05 p.m. — $400,000 guaranteed
The buy-ins and times of all tournaments will not change, only the guaranteed prize pool.
Most of the big money is available after noon, Eastern time. More than $8.5 million will be on the line for the week from noon to 6 p.m. And from 6 p.m. to midnight for the week, more than $12 million will be guaranteed, including two of the Sunday tourneys mentioned above.
Several of Full Tilt’s most popular tournaments will be affected by the guaranteed doubling. The Daily Dollar, with a buy-in of just a dollar, will have $20,000 in its prize pool. And the $55 Fifty-Fifty will have a prize pool of $100,000. And the Sunday Double Deuce, which you can buy into for $22, will guarantee $400,000.
