Everyone’s favorite online poker trash-talker is at it again. Walking soundbite Luke “__FullFlush1__” Schwartz unleashed a verbal torrent in a recent PokerListings interview that touched on British casinos, old-school pros and, of course, his favorite target: Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan.
Or, as Schwartz calls him, the “arrogant social retard”.
“I’ve smashed him,” Scwartz told PokerListings. “I’m up like 600 grand on him online. I would be up 800 grand, but we did these 200 grand flips when I was tilted one day and he won both of them. I kill this guy. This guy is like an autistic retard. If you just get a little bit into his head he can’t deal with it.”
Those interested in the feud have long speculated when the two might bring the talk to the table. There’s the online durrrr challenge, current being waged between Patrik Antonius and Dwan, but with several thousand hands to go before completion, it seems too distant a prospect to satisfy Schwartz’s antipathy toward Dwan.
There’s also Durrr’s live challenge – a four-part match, 500 hands a part, that will see Dwan square off against four different opponents. Players can choose PLO or NL. Players can’t exit the match until they bust or until 500 hands have been played. The buy in: 500k. The blinds: 500/1000. However, Schwartz has indicated that the 500k buy in is a touch too deep for him to stomach.
It would take a bit of alignment in the stars, but the two could meet at the PKR Heads Up Grand Slam this October. The tournament series is, as the title suggests, heads up matches that start with 16 brackets and advance to a final two, so there’s a reasonable, albeit small, chance that the two could collide. If both advance to the semifinals, railbirds will get the match they’ve been clamoring for.
Playing Dwan live might be more than Schwartz can stand, if this final quote from his interview is any indication: “I don’t like seeing durrrr just own off the poker world and just win all the money from all the other fish,” he said. “I don’t mind if Patrik [Antonius] and [Phil] Ivey win. I just can’t stand durrrr. I can’t stand durrrr’s face, durrrr’s voice, and durrrr’s eyes. I can’t stand anything about durrrr.”
