Doug Polk Challenges Tom Dwan to $5 Million Heads-Up Match
Doug Polk has issued a $5 million heads-up challenge to none other than Tom Dwan. The challenge was announced on his popular Youtube channel and is apparently real. Through Reddit, Polk said the following: “While this video’s focus is certainly on comedic aspects, want to point out this is a valid offer and would love to make it a reality.”
Tom Dwan, who headed the durrrr Challenge, has largely been out of the limelight for the last few years. Dwan recently made a high-profile appearance on the return to Poker After Dark on Poker Central last month. While Polk may serious about the challenge and interest would be very high from poker fans, Dwan has seemed to avoid hyped heads-up matches lately. The durrrr Challenge match with Jungleman has been delayed for years and almost looks like it will never happen, although Jungleman recently confirmed that Dwan has paid over $700k in penalties thus far.
