The Brunson 10 is now half complete with the addition of its latest star.
DoylesRoom.com announced its fifth signing, Dani “Ansky” Stern, as it moves toward its final count of 10 stars it is planning to sign to play at and promote the online poker site. Stern has gained some fame in recent months as one of the four players from the G4 television series “2 Months, 2 Million.”
“I’ve seen Ansky play on TV, I’ve seen him play online, and I’ve seen him talk poker like someone who’s been playing for decades,” poker legend Doyle Brunson said after the signing. “Dani ‘Anksy’ Stern is the future of this game and I’m proud to have him on my team.”
Mostly known as an online cash game player, Stern has already banked nearly a million in live tournament earnings, including more than a half a million at this year’s World Series of Poker in the $40K buy-in Event No. 2. He’s also well known as a coach at Pokersavvy Plus.
Stern joins Alec Torelli, Amit Makhija, Zachary Clark and Chris Moorman as members of the Brunson 10. DoylesRoom, which has been around since 2004, is a part of the Cake Poker network, a U.S.-friendly site.
